My garage door went boom in Atlanta!  My motor hasn’t worked in some time so we have been manually opening the door.  I think I opened it too quick because half way up the door came crashing down and jammed itself in crooked.  I feared a new garage door was going to be the solution. I contacted Atlanta Overhead Garage Door and they came out the same day, free of charge, to assess the damage. Long story short…I didn’t need a new door and my motor wasn’t shot. They straightened the door out and got it all back together and replaced some gear in the motor.  Within 2 hours my door and motor were fixed and all for a very reasonable price.  i was extremely pleased with the work and my door works better than it ever has.  Thank you AOGD!!! Atlanta Garage Door Service?  Yes, there are plenty to choose from.  But Atlanta Overhead Garage Door is the only one that doesn’t charge you a cent to come out and diagnose the problem and issue a written estimate.  Everyone else I called wanted anywhere from $49.00 to $99.00 just to show up.  AOGD showed up on time, were courteous, knowledgable and professional.  The pricing was very reasonable and I had them do the work right there.  The garage has never worked better and now I have a warranty. And they recycle all old parts.  You have to give these guys a try.

Re-align your safety eyes until both lights are solid. Remove obstruction. Safety eyes are faulty and need to be replaced. Circuit board is faulty and needs to be replaced.
I can hear the opener motor running but the garage door is not moving.	The opener trolley is disengaged from the rail system.	Re-engage trolley system by locating the hanging red rope/handle and pull to engage the trolley with the opener.
I hear a grinding noise whenever the garage door is trying to open or close.	Motor/opener trolley or gear & sprocket assembly are failing.	Replace motor/opener trolley and/or gear & sprocket assembly.
